The Gschwendtner Family

Peter Gschwendtner, a native of Going in Tyrol, is a very special person.

In tune with nature, intimately familiar with craggy cliffs and ice, he climbed Mount Everest on May 16, 2004. He is also a nature lover when it comes to culinary delights. He and his wife Brigitte have owned the Hotel Castle in Blitzingen since 1994. Products from the region are always at the top of their shopping lists.

Peter Gschwendtner turns in an outstanding performance on the mountains and in the kitchen. He is a devoted host as well as a passionate summiteer.
